TF Bank in partnership with Zelmerlöw & Björkman Foundation

TF Bank has initiated a partnership with Zelmerlöw & Björkman Foundation, who works to improve the lives of children and young people affected by social exclusion in various parts of Africa.

Through the partnership with Zelmerlöf & Björkman Foundation, TF Bank will be able to fund education, free school meals and access to clean water for 40 students at the Kenswed Academy in Ngong, Nairobi during the coming two years. The partnership is a long-term commitment with the objective to support and finance the foundation’s important activities in the area.

Via its founders Måns Zelmerlöw and Jonas Björkman, the Zelmerlöw & Björkman Foundation has worked to promote educational programs for young people in socially exposed areas in various parts of Africa since 2013. Today, the foundation provides financing for four schools where it funds teachers, school meals and school uniforms. It also builds wells to provide the students with access to clean water. Through a collaboration with the Swedish non-profit organization Global Relations, which has operated in the area since 1998, the foundation contributes to improving the lives for young people who previously have not been able to attend secondary school due to economic and social reasons.

“We are very proud to enter this partnership. The foundation’s efforts for children and young people in some of eastern Africa’s poorest areas are of utmost importance. We look forward to a long-term collaboration and commitment”, said Mattias Carlsson, CEO of TF Bank.
